Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling can help you to manage and overcome a broad range of difficulties that may be causing you emotional pain and distress by providing a safe, supportive and confidential therapeutic space for you to talk.
The foundation of my approach is collaborative and compassionate and my intention is to provide you with a safe, therapeutic, non-judgemental relationship where I hope you will feel heard, understood and accepted so that you can heal through your pain and move forward with your life.
I draw on a range of therapeutic models and methods so that therapy can be tailored to your individual needs and goals. These include humanistic and psychodynamic therapies, which can help to raise awareness and insight into the difficulties you are facing, alongside CBT which focuses on how thoughts and beliefs impact feelings and behaviours, and 'third wave' therapies which share the core aim of raising awareness of thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental way, and incorporating simple mindfulness and compassion evidence based practises which help to create emotional stability, and boost resilience and so that you can also learn coping strategies to help you live with more acceptance, freedom and ease.
Currently I work privately online from my home in Hertfordshire, and in person and virtually via Self Space in London.
Online counselling is an effective and convenient way for accessing counselling from the comfort of your home or office. It can also be helpful for bringing difficulties which may feel more challenging in a face to face setting.
Fees and Availability
*I believe everyone should have access to help if needed and I offer concessionary rates for students or those on a low income.
Online Counselling- £50 per 50 minute session:
Mon-Fri 10am – 8pm
Sat 10.30am -12.30
* A Minimum 48 hour Cancellation Policy applies
