Introduction to Mindfulness

An introduction to some of the core principles of mindfulness including what mindfulness is, exploration of the nature of the mind, different modes of being, responding versus reacting and how to begin to integrate a mindfulness practise  into daily life. Designed for those without any prior experience and can be a helpful pre-cursor to the 8 week MBSR program, though by no means essential. 

The program:

The program consists of 3 x 1 hour weekly group sessions (12-1pm)

Each session includes a combination of theory, simple mindfulness practices,  and group discussion.  There will also be an invitation to try out some practises at home, between sessions.
